Our Team

At the heart of Tiny Town are our experienced, qualified Early Childhood Teachers.  Every member of our team is dedicated and trained to provide a unique learning experience for your child.

At Tiny Town, all staff continue their professional development by attending relevant seminars and training throughout the year.  We work closely as a team to enhance the learning experiences for the children.  We respect each other’s skills, expertise, knowledge and capabilities.

Introducing:

Dee Lester - Director

I have been the Director at Tiny Town since 2005. I have worked as an early childhood educator for 17 years and hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Tiny Town is a very special place, where the caring and supportive ethos enables families and the staff to work together to provide a very positive learning environment.

I am married and have 3 grown up children. In my spare time I enjoy boating with my family and relaxing with a good book.

Amelia

I have been the Assistant Director at Tiny Town since 2008. I have enjoyed a career working with young children for over 20 years and have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood.  I am married with 2 children, aged 10 and 13. Our family loves to go camping and four wheel driving together.

I look forward to getting to know the children and their families, and being able to share in children’s learning journey at TinyTown.

Katy

I have been a Group Leader at Tiny Town since 2009 and have worked in childcare for over 15 years. I gained my Diploma in the UK, before we moved to Australia. With my husband and our children, aged 5 and 2, I love spending time at the beach, surfing, fishing and going to all the beautiful parks here.

I really enjoy the great community spirit that exists at Tiny Town.

Antonella

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Tiny Town team since 2006. I am presently completing my Certificate 3 in Child Studies.  My husband and I have 3 teenage children who keep us very busy.

I love getting to know all the families at Tiny Town and their special children.

Lee-Anne

I have a certificate 3 in Children’s Services and have worked at Tiny Town since 2009.  I feel it is a wonderful centre with great resources, where the atmosphere is very warm and friendly.

This creates a fantastic environment where families and staff work together to help children grow, learn and play.

Charmaine

Hi, my name is Charmaine.  My husband and I have 2 children, aged 5 and 10, and both were blessed with attending Tiny Town, experiencing the friendly and nurturing atmosphere which helped their smooth transition into primary school.

I had the pleasure of joining the Tiny Town team at the start of 2010, working in the office and taking care of all the administrative matters.

In line with the National Quality Framework, which contains the new standards against which all childcare providers are assessed, Tiny Town’s daily staffing roster incorporates the following positions:

  • Nominated Supervisor
  • Certified Supervisor
  • Educational Leader

Welcome to Tiny Town for 2012!

We’re looking forward to a wonderful year full of fun, exploration and learning.

Sheets, hats and collared shirts are available for sale.  Ask us about colours and prices.

In these early days, keep your goodbyes short.  Worried how your child is settling for the day?  Call us anytime to set your mind at rest.

Make sure you RSVP for our welcome BBQ in a few weeks time.  Ask the team for details.
